Hello, I'm Jenny Grinnell. I'm a trained professional genealogist with bachelor's and master's degrees in history from Boston College. I'm a certificate-holder of Boston University's Genealogical Research program with additional course work in Irish Genealogical Research, Genetic Genealogy, and Forensic studies from the Genealogical Institute of Pennsylvania and Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy.
I'm the Program Coordinator for GenProof Study groups. GenProof trains and educates professional genealogists on the genealogical proof standard, which is the bedrock of professional, ethical, and reliable work. I feel fortunate to be involved with GenProof and the professional standards they promote.
I'm also a genealogical researcher for Eagle Investigative Services on behalf of the U.S. Army’s Past Conflict Repatriation Bureau. The PCRB's commitment to MIA and KIA U.S. Soldiers is one of the most direct and meaningful forms of patriotism and promise-keeping I've experienced. I'm honored to do this work.
